Another go at it...this time with photo reference. Think its far from being accurate... Oh well, i'll do better the next time. Hope she likes it. :)

A long way to go....

Saw this china guy's post on conceptart... his works are just awe inspiring, especially his portraits. Makes me wanna do something like that too. And so i did....and the conclusion is, what he is capable of achieving with a few simple, well-placed brush strokes ... i just cant pull that off. Mine's all messed. Still got a long way to go for me.....

Snowy landscape again...

Another landscape painting. Was watching the trailer for World of Warcraft's new expansion, The Wrath of Lich King, and the beautifully rendered snowy landscape got me inspired. In fact, what I did looks quite similar to a particular shot in that trailer...hmm. Ah well, its all for the sake of practice right? Took me around 4hrs this time round. Something seems to be missing in this piece... I just can't seem to tell what. The colours? The composition? Gah! Gonna just call it done for now.

My first post!

Yay! The first art post....a landscape. Took me approximately 2hrs. Hmmm...lots of room for imrpovement on this 1, but i was too anxious to do something for my title image.

Here goes nothing...

So...Its time for me to buck up on my drawing, if I want to get better. Been thinking of setting up an art blog for a while now, so this blog is to remind and motivate myself to keep practicing and drawing. Hopefully i get to update this blog with stuffs weekly....no... I WILL update this blog weekly. DRAW DRAW DRAW!
